Fire Protection

• A contemporary early warning fire system encompasses all facilities within the data center park and features an automatic fire alarm system that employs aspirating smoke detectors. • The fire alarm system of the data center is directly linked to the local fire and rescue coordination center, incorporating fault monitoring capabilities. • Fire detectors include alarms. • The division of distinct fire protection zones using fire-resistant doors. • The system automatically closes the doors upon detecting smoke. • Every data center unit is equipped with handheld CO₂ fire extinguishers and portable wheeled CO₂ fire extinguishers. • DC units (buildings) are designed with gaps between them to inhibit the spread of fire (flashover) until the fire department can respond. • Every data center must have designated fire-fighting areas that are to be maintained clear at all times. • Transformers, medium-voltage stations, and battery rooms constructed with fire-resistant walls and fireproof doors. • Cable ducts within firewalls must be sealed for a minimum duration of 90 minutes. • Ventilation ducts within the firewalls are fitted with self-closing fire dampers. • Designated staff members of J.R.D Partner serve as fire protection officers and assistants, maintaining regular communication with local fire departments. • Fire protection strategies tailored for each data center, considering variations in structural design.Variations in local conditions may result in discrepancies among the different data center parks.
